A brief history

• Eurofurn was established in Brisbane, Australia in 2001 as an extension of a long standing tradition in furniture design and manufacture in both Australia and Italy.
• The company is an amalgamation of two families of Italian heritage...Bianchi and Maiolino.
• The Bianchi family are third generation furniture craftsmen with a traditional furniture manufacturing plant in Udine, Italy and a contract furniture manufacturing plant in Brisbane, Australia.
• The Maiolino family are second generation furniture designers and craftsmen with a contract furniture manufacturing plant in Manzano, Italy.
• Both families have extensive ties to both Australia and Italy which gives us a unique ability to draw experience from both communities.
• Initially a wholesaler of Italian product within the Australian market, 2004 saw the expansion of the business to include a full manufacturing facility that not only imports, but custom designs and manufactures using Italo/Australian inspirations and materials.
• Early 2008 saw the expansion take another step with the inclusion of our own well trained and industry ready sales staff, the opening of new showrooms in Brisbane and Sydney and improved supply chains throughout Australia and Italy.
• Beyond 2008 Eurofurn aims to become one of the industries preferred supplier of quality contract furniture both here in Australia and abroad.
